Toilet bidet seats are an ideal tool for everyone to thoroughly clean yourself after using the toilet. It’s specially helpful when you are heavy and it becomes difficult to reach and wipe. In such a situation bidets can be a lifesaver.

However there aren’t many bidets that can support a large and heavy person. Even if there are they can cost a lot in health store. So  I researched about affordable heavy duty bidets for large and heavy person and this is what I found.

Top Heavy Duty Bidet Seats for Large People

The top heavy duty bidet seat I found that can support a very heavy person are;

1) Bio Bidet Bliss BB2000 Elongated Smart Toilet Seat (Supports upto 350-400 pounds)
2) Brondell S1000-EW Swash 1000 Advanced Bidet Elongated Toilet Seat (Supports upto 330 pounds)

I’ve noted down some information and details about each of these bidet seats below along with the links to sources that confirm them.

Bio Bidet Bliss BB2000 Elongated Smart Toilet Seat

heavy duty bidetThe top heavy duty bidet for large person I found was the Bio Bidet Bliss BB2000 Elongated Smart Toilet Seat (check its Amazon.com page here #ad).  This bidet seat supports weights like upto 400 pounds and has got features that are most important for heavy and bariatric users.

This bidet has got a stronger water pressure, a sturdy seat and a larger seating area than other bidet seats including other models from Bio Bidet. It’s also comes with a wireless remote control to operate the spray and other functions like warm air dryer etc. Its electric powered and you’ll need a power outlet near your toilet.

As for its weight limit check replies to this question on Amazon #ad where the sellers of this bidet seat confirm it has worked for users up to 400 pounds although the specified weight is 320 lbs. Other customers have said it works for them who weigh over 350, 400 pounds plus. As for how much maximum weight limit it can support, the heaviest person using the Bio Bidet 2000, I found is this Amazon review #ad that says, he is 6′ 4″ and 440 lbs and it works perfectly for him. So it seems like a good electric bidet for large person.

Brondell S1000-EW Swash 1000 Advanced Elongated Bidet Seat

bidet for large personBrondell S1000-EW Swash 1000 bidet (check at Amazon #ad) is the second bidet seat model I came across that can carry the weight of very heavy person. Someone had asked a question here on Amazon #ad whether it is a good bidet for an obese person and a seller has replied that the Swash bidet has a weight limit of 330 lbs.

Additionally even the Swash bidets lid seems bit stronger than a standard plastic toilet lid. Couple of people have questioned on Amazon here#ad and again here on Amazon #ad about how strong this bidet lid is to sit upon when closed. A seller and several customers have replied confirming its a very “sittable” lid. It appears its got a suggested weight limit of 250 lbs. However if you are around that weight, its better to not to sit on it to avoid breaking the plastic lid.  It’s good to have a strong lid, specially since many ladies like to sit on close lids and cut the toe nails etc.

Price wise, it’s a little cheaper Bio Bidet 2000 discussed above. It has the usual bidet features like water spray, air dryer and comes with a remote control etc.

Summary

Both of these bidet models price is medium range compared other top of the range bidet seats from high-end brands like the Toto Washlets that cost thousands. (Cost gets covered from savings on toilet paper overtime, not to mention the ease of use.) And also judging by the number of reviews on online stores for them, they seem to sell a lot of them these days.

So what do you think about these models? Will you try one of these? Post your questions, thoughts and any other details or models of bidets for large people in the comments below.

Note: I was inspired to write about bidets for heavy people due to reader in a previous article I wrote about oversized toilets and oversized toilet seats for heavy people. It’s a article worth checking out in case you want to find a heavy duty toilet.
